NorthRiver PLAINTALK Training

Tammi Fleming, Sarabeth Shreffler, and Danielle (Elle) Curcio-Maiocco of Public Private Ventures PlainTalk Replication Project visited the Toledo NorthRiver PlainTalk last week.

Tammi, Sarabeth, and Elle spent 2.5+ days training people interested in being walkers and talkers in this neighborhood. Gloria Harris, Debbie Frison, Jacque Jackson, Larry McKnight, and Deborah Lindo spent Wednesday, Thursday and Friday honing their personal communication skills and going through PlainTalk data in preparation for becoming a NorthRiver Walker / Talker.

In addition to working with our very own Walkers and Talkers, the folks from P/PV revealed the findings of our community mapping process. All summer long, folks spent many hours contributing and collecting information from old North end teens and families for NorthRiver PlainTalk. We've got the data...

Some may just be common knowledge, but some other bits of information may surprise/scare you.

If you want to know more, get involved now. You just might be the first on your block to host a Home Health Party, Win a Door Prize or win a Plain Talk spelling bee.

(Can you spell Tr-??o?o???s-s, and use it in a sentence?)
